Bobritzsch var indtil 31. december 2011 en saksisk kommune i Landkreis Mittelsachsen. Den 1. januar 2012 fusionerede kommunerne Bobritzsch og Hilbersdorf til kommunen Bobritzsch-Hilbersdorf.
Bobritzsch lå i Landkreis Mittelsachsen i Sachsen cirka 28 km sydvest for Dresden, 15 km vest for Dippoldiswalde, 9 km nordvest for Frauenstein, 10 km øst for Brand-Erbisdorf og cirka 8 km øst for Freiberg. Bobritzsch lå ved foden af Osterzgebirge og blev næsten helt fra syd til nord gennemstrømmet af floden Bobritzsch.
