Cunewalde er et statsgodkendt feriested og en kommune i Landkreis Bautzen. Det ligger midt i Lausitzer-Bergland mellem Bautzen og Löbau.
Byen Cunewalde ligger i dalen af Cunewalder-vandet mellem bjergkæderne Czorneboh med Hromadnik mod nord og Bieleboh mod syd. Det er den længste vejlandsby i Tyskland med en samlet længde på over 11 kilometer.
