Hechthausen, også kendt som "porten til Cuxland", er en kommune i øst for den niedersächsiske kommune Cuxhaven. Den tilhører Samtgemeinde Hemmoor.
Hechthausen er afgrænset mod nord, øst og syd af floden Oste, som her krydses af Niederelbebahn Cuxhaven–Stade–Hamburg og den næsten parallelt løbende landevej 73.
