Achern [ˈaxɐn̩] er en by i vestlige Baden-Württemberg, cirka 18 kilometer sydvest for Baden-Baden og 19 kilometer nordøst for Offenburg. Den udgør et mellembygge for de omkringliggende kommuner og er efter amtsbyen Offenburg og byerne Lahr/Schwarzwald og Kehl den fjerde største by i Ortenaukreis. Siden 1. januar 1974 har Achern været en stor kommune. Sammen med kommunerne Lauf, Sasbach og Sasbachwalden har byen Achern indgået en aftalt forvaltningsenhed.
