Wiednitz er en landsby i Landkreis Bautzen ved den nordlige kant af Oberlausitz. Det har siden 1. januar 2012 været en bydel i byen Bernsdorf. Delene af landsbyens matrikler lå tidligere i Preussen.
Landsbyen ligger i et skovrigt, næsten fladt, til dels fugtigt hedelandskab ved kanten af Oberlausitzer hede- og damplejelandskab i umiddelbar nærhed til grænsen til Brandenburg. Mod nord og nordøst strækker den sig ud i et efterfølgende minedriftslandskab. Wiednitz ligger cirka 13 kilometer nordvest for Kamenz og 18 km sydvest for Hoyerswerda.
