Landau i Pfalz, også kendt som Landau, er en tysk kreisfri by i delstaten Rheinland-Pfalz. Byen har 46.685 indbyggere på et areal af 82,94 km².
Landau fik i 1274 byrettigheder af kong Rudolf I af Habsburg, som også tildelte byen status som rigby i 1291. I 1324 blev byen bortforpagtet til biskoppen af Speyer som pant. Først i 1511 kunne kejser Maximilian I indløse pantet, og Landau blev placeret under varetægt af Hagenau. I 1521 sluttede Landau sig til Dekapolis, Tienstæderforbundet i Alsace. I 1525 brød den pfalziske bønderkrig ud i Nußdorf, en nu til Landau hørende landsby, en opstand fra befolkningen mod den herskende adel.
