Butjadingen er en kommune i Landkreis Wesermarsch i det nordvestlige Niedersachsen. Den ligger på den homonyme halvø ved den tyske Nordsøkyst, som i sydvest grænser op til Jadebugten, i vest og nordvest til Inderjade samt i øst og nordøst til Weser og dens udløb. Samtidig er kommunen Butjadingen en del af det historiske landskab Butjadingen, hvor den friesiske stamme Butjadinger levede i middelalderen og i den tidlige moderne tid.
