Heiden er en kommune i Westmünsterland i det nordvestlige Nordrhein-Westfalen og tilhører Kreis Borken i regeringsdistriktet Münster.
Heiden ligger i den vestlige del af den vestfalske bugt og i den nordlige del af naturparken Hohe Mark-Westmünsterland. Den ligger syd for højdedraget Die Berge.
Med en skovandel på 23,1 % er Heiden den skovrigeste kommune i Kreis Borken. Størstedelen af disse skovområder strækker sig over Uhlenberg, hvor også Teufelsteine ligger. Det Heidenske opland er gennemskåret af flere bifloder til Borkener Aa, som tilhører flodsystemet IJssel. Kun Wellbruchbach i syd er knyttet til Lippe-systemet.
