Haltepunkt Mettmann Zentrum er en af i alt tre stationer i den nordrhein-westfalske by Mettmann. Det ligger cirka 300 m syd for byens centrum.

Da busserne i Mettmann er rettet mod ZOB på Jubiläumsplatz og forgrener sig i alle retninger fra vejkrydsene Bahnstraße/Talstraße/Breite Straße syd for pladsen nær jernbanelinjen, kan ikke alle buslinjer i Mettmann forbindes med S 28 ved stationen Stadtwald. Allerede i 1953 blev der oprettet en ny ekstra busstop nær krydset Bahnstraße/Talstraße/Breite Straße. Dette fik navnet Mettmann West, da det ligger vest for stationen Mettmann Stadtwald, som på det tidspunkt stadig hed Mettmann. Den blev omdøbt på grund af sin direkte beliggenhed til Mettmann Centrum i forbindelse med S-Bahn nydrift i Mettmann Centrum. Stationen Mettmann fik samtidigt det nye navn Mettmann Stadtwald.
