La fermata Mettmann Zentrum è una delle tre stazioni ferroviarie nella città distrettuale di Mettmann, nel Nord Reno-Westfalia. Si trova a circa 300 m a sud del centro città.
Poiché gli autobus a Mettmann sono orientati verso il ZOB in Jubiläumsplatz e si diramano in tutte le direzioni dalla crocevia Bahnstraße/Talstraße/Breite Straße a sud della piazza, non tutte le linee autobus possono essere collegate con la S 28 presso la stazione Bahnhof Stadtwald. Già nel 1953 è stata istituita una nuova fermata ferroviaria in prossimità dell'incrocio Bahnstraße/Talstraße/Breite Straße. Questa è stata chiamata Mettmann West, poiché si trova a ovest della stazione Mettmann Stadtwald, che all'epoca si chiamava ancora Mettmann. È stata rinominata a seguito della sua posizione diretta al centro di Mettmann nell'ambito dell'inizio del servizio ferroviario S-Bahn nel centro di Mettmann. La stazione Mettmann ha ricevuto simultaneamente il nuovo nome Mettmann Stadtwald.
