Landsbyerne ligger sydvest for Schkeuditzer bycentrum ved grænsen til byen Leuna i Sachsen-Anhalt. Vest for landsbyen ligger motorvejsøen med en campingplads nær den navngivende motorvej A9. Via den statsvej 186, der løber øst for Kleinliebenau, kan de to motorvejsafkørsler 16 Großkugel mod nord og 17 Leipzig-West mod syd nås. Gennem landsbyen løber statsvejen 178, der afgår fra hovedvejen i øst-vest-retning, og som fortsætter som statsvej 185 på den anden side af grænsen til Sachsen-Anhalt. Syd for landsbyen ligger et grusgrave.
Nord for landsbyen afviger Luppe kort før udløbet af den kanaliserede Neue Luppe i den hvide Elster som en naturvenlig lavvandsløb.
