Inn er en højre biflod til Donau og en af de vigtigste vandafløb fra Alperne. Dalens flod har historisk set været en vigtig transportvej. Inn løber gennem tre lande: Schweiz, Østrig og Tyskland. Dens længde er 517 km.<brKilden ligger ved toppen af Lunghin på 2645 meters højde nær Malojapas i den schweiziske kanton Graubünden. Vandet ender i Lunghinsøen, som betragtes som begyndelsespunktet. Dette område er vandskellet mellem Nordsøen, Sortehavet og Adriaterhavet. Inn-vandet ender til sidst i Sortehavet.
