Efter 1 kilometer drejer vi til venstre nedad: AV 901 til Villanueva og Mijares. Vi daler nu først lidt ned, og fra broen over Alberche går det op igen. Vi klatrer i 4.7 km for at stige 240 meter til Villanueva.
