Slottet i Pals er et grænse-slot fra det 9. århundrede i den gamle kerne af Pals, i Bajo Ampurdán. Tårnet for hyldest fra det gamle slot er bevaret, kendt som Timerens Tårn på grund af klokketårnet bygget i det 15. århundrede.
Slottet er dokumenteret i året 889 i et påbud fra den karolingiske konge Odón, relateret til klosteret Sant Pau de Fontclara, hvor det nævnes med navnet Mont Aspre-slot. I året 994 donerer grevskaberne Barcelona og Gerona, Ramón Borrell og Ermesenda, det, sammen med kirken San Pedro, til bispedømmet Gerona.
