De såkaldte Cuevas de la Antigua Fragua i den historiske del af Mijas udgør et sæt af tre små huler i klipperne, resultatet af både natur og menneskehånd.
Hulerne blev brugt som opbevaringssted for en smedje.
Det menneskelige brug af disse naturlige huler var meget almindeligt i den preindustrielle periode, da de sikrede en konstant temperatur og fugtighed med de deraf følgende materielle fordele.
De tre rum er blevet tilpasset til menneskelig beboelse, især det største. Smedjehuset er ikke blevet bevaret.
