Saimaa-kanalen er en transportkanal, der forbinder søen Saimaa med Den Finske Bugt nær Vyborg, Rusland. Kanalen blev bygget fra 1845 til 1856 og åbnede den 7. september 1856.
Den blev renoveret og udvidet i 1963–1968.
Et system af indre vandveje og kanaler i de 120 sammenkoblede søer i den sydcentrale og sydøstlige del af Finland nås gennem kanalen. Netværket af dybe kanaler i Søen Saimaa med en dybgang på mindst 4,2 meter dækker 814 kilometer. De dybe kanaler strækker sig helt til Kuopio i Mellemfinnland.
