Postnummeret er: 04000. Beliggende i kanten af Préalpes de Digne, på hver side af Bléone, er Digne-les-Bains hovedbyen i departementet Alpes de Haute-Provence. Placeringen i det geografiske centrum af departementet gør, at denne by huser 16.844 indbyggere, hvilket gør den til en af de mindste prefekturer i Frankrig efter befolkning.
