Briennon er en fransk kommune med 1.719 indbyggere i Département Loire i regionen Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Den tilhører arrondissementet Roanne og kantonen Charlieu. Briennon ligger cirka tolv kilometer nord for Roanne ved den vestlige bred af Loire, som danner den østlige kommunegrænse. Gennem kommunen løber Canal de Roanne à Digoin. En mindeværdighed er tilførslen af floden Jarnossin som en højre biflod til Loire. Lige netop her strækker kommunegrænsen sig nemlig over til den modsatte bred af Loire, ved grænsen til kommunen Pouilly-sous-Charlieu.
