Bernis er en kommune med 3421 indbyggere i Département Gard i Frankrig. Bernis grænser mod nordøst til kommunen Milhaud, mod øst til Aubord og mod vest til Uchaud. Kommuneområdet i Bernis omfatter de naturrumsmæssige landskabsenheder Garrigues de Nîmes og den alluviale slette ved Vistrenque, som gennemstrømmes af Vistre. Mellem Bernis og Aubord begynder det omfattende udløbsdelta af Vistre, som ved Vauvert går over i Petite Camargue. På grund af denne nærhed til Vistre bliver Bernis periodisk ramt af oversvømmelser.
