Saint-Amand-Montrond er en kommune i den sydlige del af departementet Cher i regionen Centre-Val de Loire. Den havde 9.488 indbyggere den 1. januar 2019 og ligger langs A71 og Cher i det geografiske centrum af Frankrig. Den er desuden hovedstad i den geografiske region Boischaut Sud. Området er rigt på gallo-romerske levn. Sognets kirke stammer fra det 12. århundrede. Byen ligger ved foden af en bakke, hvor prinsen af Condés slot lå, som blev ødelagt under undertrykkelsen af Fronden. I dag er byen den tredjestørste producent af guld og smykker i Frankrig. I den umiddelbare nærhed findes det berømte cistercienserkloster Noirlac.
