Muséet national de Préhistoire er et center grundlagt i 1918 af Denis Peyrony i den occitanske kommune Las Eisiás i Dordogne. Installeret i en bygning af nutidig arkitektur præsenterer Muséet national de Préhistoire in situ en historisk og forhistorisk fortid af en exceptionel rigdom og samler en af de vigtigste samlinger af paleolitikum i Frankrig. Det giver også mulighed for at opdage sporene af mennesker fra forhistorien gennem stenredskaber, kunstgenstande i knogle eller elfenben, naturstørrelsesrekonstruktioner af forhistoriske mennesker og uddøde dyr, som muliggør en bedre forståelse af udviklingen af de menneskelige samfund gennem de sidste 400.000 år.
