Poitiers [pwa'tje] er hovedstaden i departementet Vienne i regionen Nouvelle-Aquitaine i det vestlige Frankrig. Indtil 2016 var den også hovedstad i den derefter opløste region Poitou-Charentes. Den ligger ved floden Clain og tæller 89.212 indbyggere. På grund af sine 78 kulturmonumenter, der er beskyttet af loven, blev den tildelt titlen "Kunst- og Historieby".
