Kington er en civil parish i det administrative område Herefordshire, i det navnlig engelske amt. Stedet har cirka 2600 indbyggere og ligger omkring 34 km nordvest for Hereford.
På trods af at det ligger vest for Offa's Dyke, tilhører Kington ikke Wales, selvom det sandsynligvis gjorde det i det ottende århundrede. I 1066 faldt det inden for områderne af angelsakserne og - ikke længe efter - normannerne. I Domesday Book fra 1086 er den ældste del nævnt som Chingtune, den nyere, ved fod af bakken, daterer sig fra 1175-1230.
