Jernbanestation Paddington er også stedet, der er forbundet med Paddington Bear. Paddington Bear er en fiktiv karakter i børnelitteraturen. Han optrådte første gang den 13. oktober 1958 og har været med i mere end tyve bøger skrevet af Michael Bond og illustreret af Peggy Fortnum og andre kunstnere. I 2014 blev der lavet en live action/computeranimeret familiefilm baseret på Paddington Bear af Michael Bond, filmen har Ben Whishaw som stemmen til titelkarakteren, sammen med Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi og Nicole Kidman i live-action roller.
