La gare de Paddington est également le lieu lié à Paddington Bear. Paddington Bear est un personnage fictif de la littérature pour enfants. Il est apparu pour la première fois le 13 octobre 1958 et a été présenté dans plus de vingt livres écrits par Michael Bond et illustrés par Peggy Fortnum et d'autres artistes. En 2014, un film comique familial en prises de vue réelles et en animation par ordinateur a été réalisé sur Paddington Bear par Michael Bond, le film met en vedette Ben Whishaw dans le rôle du personnage principal, aux côtés de Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi et Nicole Kidman dans des rôles en prises de vue réelles.
