Chromonastiri er et lokalsamfund i Rethymno Kommune i Rethymno-regionen på Kreta, der blev etableret af Kallikratis-reformen. Tidligere var det en del af den tidligere kommune Rethymno.
Chromonastiri er en traditionel bosættelse og er klassificeret i klasse II, som er af gennemsnitlig kulturel værdi. Bygninger med venetianske arkitektoniske elementer er spredt over hele landsbyen. I årene 2005, 2007, 2008 og 2009 modtog Chromonastiri en pris for at være den '"renere og mere organiserede traditionelle kommune"'
