Du kunne bogstaveligt talt kalde det et vandområde. Fordi det er, hvad dette 14. århundredes kirketårn i Graun blev som et resultat af dæmningen, der blev bygget her i 1948-1950. Som følge heraf blev den oprindelige landsby Graun og en stor del af Reschen oversvømmet. 163 huse blev nedrevet, og 523 hektar land blev oversvømmet. I dag er kirketårnet i Alt-Graun, det gamle landsbycenter i Graun, som stikker op over overfladen, en påmindelse om den tidligere landsby.
