Bari, skabt med det græske navn Βάριον, derefter kaldt på latin: Barium, er en by i Italien, hovedstad i regionen Puglia og i den metropolitanske by Bari.
Byen vender ud mod Adriaterhavet og strækker sig over ca. 40 km kyst, mellem kommunerne Giovinazzo mod nord og Mola di Bari mod syd. I bredden strækker den sig op til ca. 13 km fra havneområdet til den yderste del af Loseto-kvarteret mod sydvest.
