Siden det 13. århundrede har der været en borg på stedet for det nuværende Slot Bettendorf. Det nuværende Slot Bettendorf stammer fra året 1782 og blev bygget i barokstil. I 1962 blev slottet restaureret. Borgen er i privat eje og kan ikke besigtiges. Siden 2007 har det været fredet.
