IJssellinjen: forsvarsanlæg fra den kolde krig
Som svar på truslen fra den kolde krig blev der efter 2. verdenskrig i største hemmelighed udført en plan for anlæggelse af en vandlinje. Denne skulle forhindre en eventuel fremrykning af russerne.
Restene af dette militære forsvarsanlæg i Olst forvaltes som museum. Med en stadig fuldt indrettet hospitalsbunker, kommandobunker og tanktårne, som du kan besøge. IJssellinjen ligger på godset Haere mellem Deventer - Olst. Mere information findes på www.ijssellinie.info
