Oudewater ) er en by og kommune i den hollandske provins Utrecht. Stedet fik sine byrettigheder i 1265 og er dermed den ældste by i det Grønne Hjerte. Oudewater ligger ved udløbet af vandløbet Lange Linschoten i Hollandse IJssel. Oudewater har over 300 historiske bygninger, 97 kommunale monumenter og 127 rijksmonumenter og har dermed den højeste monumenttæthed i Holland. Byen er internationalt kendt for 'Heksenwaag' og er blevet rig på grund af rebindustrien, hvilket også har givet indbyggerne tilnavnet 'Geelbuiken'.
