Godset Anneville blev bygget i 1851. Vidste du, at både Prins Bernhard og Dronning Wilhelmina engang opholdt sig her? I de sidste måneder af krigen blev Anneville beslaglagt af tyskerne og anvendt som bageri, især omkring Karetterrassen. Efter befrielsen af Sydnederland var Anneville indtil april 1945 bolig for Prins Bernhard, da han havde sit hovedkvarter i Breda. Efter hans afgang blev Anneville den 3. maj 1945 i cirka seks uger residens for Dronning Wilhelmina. Det var et særligt sted for hende, for her nåede nyheden om tyskerne i Nederlanden's kapitulation hende.
