Doetinchem er en by og kommune ved den Gamle IJssel, beliggende i Achterhoek i den hollandske provins Gelderland. Kommunen har 56.134 indbyggere (31. dec. 2008, kilde: CBS) og har et areal på 52,74 km2 (heraf 1,50 km2 vand). Dermed er Doetinchem den mest tætbefolkede kommune i Achterhoek. Befolkningen består af over fyrre procent af protestantisk oprindelse og næsten lige så stor en del af katolsk afstamning. Resten af kommunen består i dag af mange ateister og muslimer.
