Papendrecht ) er en by og kommune i Alblasserwaard i den hollandske provins Zuid-Holland. Kommunen har 32.174 indbyggere og et areal på 10,77 km². Inden for kommunegrænsen ligger der ingen andre kerner. Papendrecht nævnes første gang i et dokument fra 1105. Efter 1277, da der blev anlagt en dæmning rundt om værdien, opstod der en landsby. Indtil 1816 var Papendrecht ejet af adelsfamilier, og først derefter fik den en egen kommunalbestyrelse. Kommunen begyndte først for alvor at vokse i 1960'erne. Dæmningslandsbyen har nu et urbant præg. I 2005 fejrede Papendrecht sit 900-års jubilæum.
