Det tidligere sendeanlæg Radio Kootwijk er et fyrtårn midt i Veluwe-naturen. Fra dette tidligere sendeanlæg blev der i det forrige århundrede opretholdt kontakt med Nederlands-Indië.
Ro, plads og mørke omkranser det markante design af arkitekt Julius Maria Luthmann. De giver bygningskomplekset en særlig dimension.
Efter at sendefunktionen ophørte, solgte KPN Telecom i 2003 bygningerne og de omkringliggende 400 hektar natur til staten. Forskellige myndigheder søger nu sammen efter en ny anvendelse til dette unikke og sårbare kompleks.
