Hummelo er en tidligere nederlandsk kommune og landsby i kommunen Bronckhorst i Achterhoek, i provinsen Gelderland. Hummelo havde pr. 1. januar 2021 1.645 indbyggere. Hummelo nævnes første gang i et dokument fra år 828. Navnet forklares på flere måder. Det kunne være en sammensætning af den germanske humulan, som en sammensætning af hummel og lauha. Altså en skovklædt højde, hvor humle vokser. Det kunne også være, at det er et egennavn med tilknytningen loo for skov.
