Naaldwijk er en by med 22.130 indbyggere i provinsen Zuid-Holland og ligger i hjertet af regionen Westland. Den største økonomiske motor er glasdyrkningen. I den nærliggende landsby Honselersdijk ligger verdens største blomsterauktion, FloraHolland. Indtil 1. januar 2004 var Naaldwijk hovedby i den navngivne kommune, som også omfattede Honselersdijk og Maasdijk. Den 1. januar 2004 gik kommunen Naaldwijk sammen med nabokommunerne De Lier, 's-Gravenzande, Monster og Wateringen ind i kommunen Westland gennem den kommunale sammenlægning Westland. I Naaldwijk er kommunekontoret for kommunen Westland beliggende, hvor der findes offentlige tjenester som skranker, social service osv.
