Den Gamle IJssel er en biflod til floden IJssel. Den Gamle IJssel begynder i Tyskland under navnet Issel og løber derefter gennem kommunerne Oude IJsselstreek, Doetinchem og Bronckhorst, hvorefter den munder ud i IJssel ved Doesburg. På Nedersaksisk hedder floden Olde Iessel eller kort sagt Iessel.
