Leeuwarder Courant er den største regionale dagblad i Friesland og udgives af Mediahuis Noord. Avisen blev grundlagt i 1752 og er dermed den ældste avis, der opererer under samme titel i Holland. LC er primært på nederlandsk, men der er også artikler på frisisk. Desuden præsenteres frisiske citater i deres oprindelige form uden forklarende oversættelse.
