Hvert år, den første søndag i september, afholdes blomsteroptoget i Zundert. Det er en tradition siden 1936, da det blev afholdt første gang i anledning af dronning Wilhelminas fødselsdag. I midten af 1950'erne steg antallet af besøgende til optoget til op mod 100.000. Det er det største dahliaoptog i verden, og det er grunden til, at der i området omkring Zundert findes mange dahliafelter. Hele 20 bydele deltager med en prydvogn, og hver af dem har deres eget dahliafelt. I øjeblikket dækker de samlede dahliafelter i Zundert et areal på 33 hektar med i alt 600.000 dahlia-knolde fra femoghalvfjerds forskellige dahliaarter.
