Avalon er en by i Cape May County, New Jersey, på Seven Mile Island. Ifølge den amerikanske folketælling i 2010 var byens fuldtidsbefolkning 1.334, selvom den vokser i sommermånederne. Befolkningen faldt med 809 fra de 2.143, der blev talt i folketællingen i 2000, som igen var steget med 334 fra de 1.809, der blev talt i folketællingen i 1990.
Fællesskabet er et af de mest velhavende samfund langs Jersey Shore og huser noget af den dyreste ejendom på Østkysten. I 2007 listede Forbes Avalon som den 65. dyreste ZIP-kode i USA. Washingtonian kaldte endda Avalon for den "chikeste strand" i Midtatlanten, stedet at se kvinder i diamanter og designerbadetøj. En lille del af Avalon ligger ikke på Seven Mile Island. Byen er en del af det metropolitanske statistiske område Ocean City.
