Das Air Albania Stadium, während der Bauzeit als Arena Kombëtare bezeichnet, ist das größte Fußballstadion in Albanien. Es bietet 22.000 Zuschauern Platz und wurde im November 2019 eröffnet. Die Fußballarena ist die Heimspielstätte der albanischen Fußballnationalmannschaft und der Endspielort des nationalen Fußballpokals. Außerdem ist geplant, außersportliche Veranstaltungen wie Konzerte oder ähnliches in der Anlage durchzuführen. Zum Stadiongelände gehört ein 25 Stockwerke hoher Turm, der u. a. über ein Marriott-Hotel verfügen wird. Das Hochhaus war bei der Eröffnung das höchste des Landes.
Erste Pläne für ein neues Fußballstadion an der Stelle des bisherigen Qemal-Stafa-Stadions wurden bereits 2010 bekannt. Es wurden zwei konkrete Vorschläge für ein neues Fußballstadion gemacht, welche allerdings aufgrund der schlechten Finanzierbarkeit fallen gelassen wurden.
