Obervellach ist eine Marktgemeinde mit 2204 Einwohnern im Süden von Österreich im Bezirk Spittal an der Drau in Kärnten.Die Gemeinde liegt im Mölltal südlich des Tauernhauptkammes. Ein Teil der Gemeinde liegt im Nationalpark Hohe Tauern.
