St. Georgen an der Gusen ist eine Marktgemeinde im Mühlviertel in Oberösterreich mit 4451 Einwohnern . Sie ist mit 7,13 km² flächenmäßig die kleinste Gemeinde im Bezirk Perg.Der zwischen 1220 und 1240 erstmals als Amt Sankt Georgen urkundlich erwähnte Ort liegt an der Gusen, einem linken Nebenfluss der Donau. Seit dem 16. Jahrhundert führt die Hauderer Straße als Vorläufer der Donau Straße durch den Markt.
