Josef Fritzl ist ein rechtskräftig verurteilter österreichischer Straftäter, der seine Tochter von 1984 bis 2008 in einer unterirdischen Wohnung gefangen hielt. Während dieser Zeit missbrauchte und vergewaltigte er sie vielfach und zeugte mit ihr insgesamt sieben Kinder. Drei dieser Kinder hielt er ebenfalls von ihrer Geburt an bis 2008 in der Kellerwohnung gefangen.
