Im Südosten des Dorfes liegt die Rennstrecke Spa-Francorchamps. Der Lärm und die Hektik bei den Rennen stehen im Kontrast zur Ruhe und der Schönheit der Natur, die man über verschiedene ausgeschilderte Wanderwege entdecken kann, wenn die Rennwagen nicht fahren.
Bis zur großen Fusion der belgischen Gemeinden im Jahr 1977 war Francorchamps eine eigenständige Gemeinde, in der auch die Weiler Hockai, Neuville und Ster lagen.
