Seit 1974 ist das Vinne ein Provinzgebiet mit einer Fläche von etwa 130 ha. Im Jahr 2004 wurde ein Naturgestaltungsprojekt durchgeführt, um das ursprüngliche Naturbild des Vinne wiederherzustellen: ein natürliches Binnengewässer, umgeben von Wiesen und Wäldern. Gleichzeitig wurde die Wanderinfrastruktur grundlegend angepasst. Neue Wanderwege, Stege, Schutzhütten, Vogelbeobachtungshütten, Aussichtstürme u.a. machen einen Spaziergang noch spannender und angenehmer.
Öffnungszeiten: Das Vinne ist das ganze Jahr über kostenlos zugänglich von Sonnenaufgang bis Sonnenuntergang.
