Melden ist ein Dorf im Südwesten der belgischen Provinz Ostflandern und ein Stadtteil von Oudenaarde. Das Dorf ist vor allem bekannt für seinen Koppenberg.
In den sechziger Jahren hatte der Umbau der N8 Brüssel-Kortrijk große Auswirkungen auf dieses Dorf. Die ehemalige lokale Straße zwischen Berchem und Oudenaarde wurde verbreitert und bekam teilweise einen neuen Verlauf über die früheren 'Schelde-Wiesen'. Es wurden viele Häuser abgerissen, wodurch sich das Dorfbild grundlegend veränderte.
