Melden es una aldea en el suroeste de la provincia belga de Flandes Oriental y es un distrito del municipio de Oudenaarde. La aldea es especialmente conocida por su Koppenberg.
En los años sesenta, la remodelación de la N8 Bruselas-Kortrijk tuvo grandes consecuencias para esta aldea. La antigua carretera local entre Berchem y Oudenaarde fue ensanchada y recibió en parte un nuevo trazado sobre las antiguas 'praderas del Escalda'. Se demolieron varias casas, lo que cambió drásticamente la imagen del pueblo.
