Auvelais ist ein Dorf in der belgischen Provinz Namur und eine Teilgemeinde von Sambreville. Das Dorf liegt in einer Schleife der Samber.
Die Gemeinde Auvelais entstand 1809 durch die Fusion von Auvelais-le-Comté und Auvelais-le-Voisin. Nach den Gemeindegebietsreformen von 1977 wurde Auvelais zur Hauptgemeinde der neu gebildeten Fusionsgemeinde Sambreville.
